What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving the application of pressure to the feet with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and pressure points that reflect an image of the body on the feet which can cause a physical change to the body.
Reflexology is a non-invasive therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and hands using finger and thumb techniques thus relieving stress and tension and improving circulation. Reflexology may be as effective for promoting good health and for preventing illness as it may be for relieving symptoms of stress, injury and illness. Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that reflexes and pressure points in the feet correspond to every part of the body.
Reflexology is for anyone who wants to take charge of their health and experience organic natural healing. Reflexology helps to balance the physical and mental and emotional aspects of the whole body. It also helps to relieve tension, improve circulation and promotes natural functioning and healing of the whole body. Because of the benefits of reflexology, it can be beneficial to all genders and ages, from babies to seniors.
